Behavioural Security and Applied Behavioural Profiling Model
Two courses that cover the human-in-the-loop problem from both sides:
Behavioural Security focuses on organisational conditions, pressures, and governance that shape risk-relevant behaviour.
ABPM® (Applied Behavioural Profiling Model) focuses on individual behavioural tendencies, decision patterns, and how they interact with context.
Together, they help security and leadership move from “awareness and blame” to a disciplined way of understanding, discussing, and reducing human-element exposure.
Outcomes:
Stop repeating the same incidents with different people.
Replace vague “culture” talk with clearer risk language and ownership.
Design controls and decisions that fit real human behaviour under pressure.
Course 1: Behavioural Security Foundation
A leadership-grade course on governing human risk as a systems problem.
Best for CISOs, security leaders, risk owners, senior managers, programme leads.
What you’ll learn
How organisational pressures and constraints shape decision-making and behaviour.
How to talk about “human risk” in a way that works with governance, not against it.
How to prioritise practical changes without defaulting to “more awareness”.
What you leave with
A structured language for describing human-element exposure.
A simple way to identify where responsibility sits (security, leadership, control owners).
A clear next-step plan for follow-on diagnostic or internal action.
Course 2: Applied Behavioural Profiling Model (ABPM®) Foundation
A practical course on behavioural tendencies in security-relevant contexts — without turning people into labels.
Best for Security teams, investigators, managers of sensitive roles, analysts/strategists, HR/People partners working with risk owners (where appropriate).
What you’ll learn
How behavioural tendencies can become predictable risk patterns under specific conditions.
How context amplifies or dampens risk (role demands, stressors, incentives, ambiguity).
How to improve judgement about susceptibility, friction points, and escalation pathways.
What you leave with
A disciplined way to think about person–context interaction in security decisions.
Better questions to ask (mistakes to avoid) when assessing human risk.
A shared vocabulary that improves communication between security, leadership, and control owners.
